Vuosina 1978 – 1997 Emetin kansanpuistossa järjestettiin Country Road 13 nimeä kantanutta ulkoilmatapahtumaa. Konsertti/festivaali oli aikoinaan yksi Suomen suurimmista kantrimusiikin tapahtumista. Tapahtuman yleisöennätys on vuodelta 1981, jolloin lähes 3000 kantrifania kokoontui katsomaan ja kuulemaan zydecon kuningatar Queen Idaa ja Bon Temps Zydeco Bandia.
1990-luvulla yleisön kiinnostus hiipui ja tapahtuma loppui taloudellisien syiden vuoksi 1997.
